It is so important to show your appreciation for the people who help you raise fine, upstanding kidlets. You don’t have to spend a wad of cash on some extravagant appreciation gift, but a little thought goes a long way. Even just a little note is a gesture that is of more value to the recipient than the time it takes you to write it. You should always make deposits in your karmic bank with efforts like this. You never know when someone will really need that note of encouragement that it took you moments to make.
You can make these for your bus driver, librarian, lunch lady, principal, teacher, mail carrier, neighbor…
Here is the little tag we made for our teacher appreciation gift. My little’s kindergarten teacher was a gummy bear for Halloween, so we thought this would be appropriate. We got gummy worms, sour bears, and regular gummy bears, thinking that whatever she didn’t like she could share in the teacher’s lounge. It says, “You’re the beary best teacher.” (And she is.) I used a vintage floral frame graphic, but I made the colors a little less feminine and a little more gummy bear. I used a script font, I didn’t want to use something that was too kiddie with my classy little frame. This image is larger, the tag is four to a page in landscape.
This is a printable PDF with blank frames, you can print these and have your little write “thank you” with their very own adorable handwriting. My kindergartener wrote thank you on the front and then dictated notes to me on the back. There are six cards to a page.

Everyone knows it’s the thought that counts in kindergarten, not the spelling.
This is an editable Word document where you can change the text to whatever you want. I used the Google font Lobster, which you will need to install, or use your favorite font. There are six cards to a page, but you can increase the image size if you prefer.

All of the items pictured, excluding the mason jar, were found at my local dollar store. We made the peanut butter cookies, too.
Who have you shown your appreciation to lately?
