Continue readingYour road trip will absolutely be ruled by your attitude. If you approach the expedition as an adventure it will be. Stay positive. Be flexible. Try to be patient and kind with your grumpy children and road-weary hubby. And give yourself permission to want to throttle them, even while you’re being patient and kind and they’re being whiney brats. I have a friend who went to Disney, upon arrival promptly developed flu-like symptoms, and suffered the entire drive back as well. The only good memories she had of the trip were of the drive out.
