Rocker recliner

You may want a rocker, which will look cute and be super helpful for soothing the baby and for nighttime feedings. But, I recommend getting a rocker recliner. You will eventually sleep in that chair. It may be the hormones you release when breastfeeding, or it may be sleep deprivation. Nursing kid #3 I would at least doze every single time, she totally knocked me out. If this is kid #1 you get to sleep when the baby sleeps, so if the kid is fed and burped and you’re ready for a nap, go ahead and nap (safely). I have gotten rocker recliners from Freecycle, Craigslist and yard sales. Make sure you try it out before you buy, and give it a super cleaning.
